If we take action now, we can reduce the impacts of climate change.
Edmonton is part of social, economic and environmental global systems that support our quality of life and these systems are being disrupted by climate change.
Our actions in our community have local and global impacts.
The majority of Edmontonians tell us they're concerned about climate change and want to take action now. We have an opportunity to act locally to make us more resistant to the global impacts of climate change and to protect our quality of life, health and economy. So let’s work together to reduce our city’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and, in doing so, reduce our contribution to climate change.
Change for Climate is a call to all Edmontonians to take action and work together to reduce our city’s greenhouse gas emissions by 35% (below 2005 levels) by 2035.
Together, we can turn this initiative into a citywide movement.
Let’s come together as a city and lead the charge against rising global temperatures.
Let’s change the conversation. Change our neighbour’s mind. Change our habits.
Each of us needs to change whatever we can, and we need to do it now. Because if we don’t change something, climate will change everything.
Let’s Change for Climate.
