I’ve always been involved...ever since I was in elementary school I was interested in helping the planet. I started a club when I was younger and helped by picking up garbage in the field/our playground. I am now being more involved, more than ever! I do all I can to help the environment, even picking up garbage as I walk around.
My partner started a company a while back called GreenTech and I was more than happy to help out. The idea to save energy to save money and the planet! Although that business didn’t work out, that did not stop us in changing our ways. There are ways to help out the environment and save some money too - changing to LEDs, changing the faucet aerators, how we throw out things, insulating better and a lot more!
I hope that more people would get involved. I try to motivate people by sharing on Facebook environmental issues around the world. I'm hoping people start caring! My kids will be living here and their kids and so on. So, it kind of hurts that some people don’t take part or don't have any interest in doing so...considering they have children (possibly) and mine are sitting next to them (figure of speech) but it starts with ourselves.
